From one of Florida's real estate pioneering families, Elizabeth was exposed to the home construction industry at an early age. Her father Bill was a real estate developer and attorney. Her earliest memories are of Saturday mornings inspecting job sites with her dad and the family dog, "Queenie". Her family is the oldest home builder in Northeast Florida, beginning with her grandfather's Florida Title & Guaranty Company in 1926 and her great
grandfather's Towers Hardware
Company in 1901. Towers Hardware
was the premier source of building
supplies during the expansion of
Jacksonville at the turn of the century.

Elizabeth Towers
Florida Title Group, Inc. has a rich history in real estate development and the construction industry. In the 1920's, Elizabeth's grandfather, attorney C. Daughtry Towers built residential homes in the newly developed Riverside-Avondale neighborhood in Jacksonville, FL. In 1951, his sons Charles and William Towers founded the Florida Title & Mortgage Company, specializing in mortgage banking, utilities, shopping centers and subdivision developments.
In 1985, associated with Florida Title, brothers William, Jr., and John Towers formed the successful Atlantic Builders. More recently, as New Atlantic Builders, the company continues the tradition of exceptional and affordable residential construction.
